The Secret Service has advised President Donald Trump to use a legacy Air Force One aircraft instead of the newly retrofitted plane gifted by Qatar during a visit to Turkey. This recommendation stemmed from heightened security concerns due to ongoing military tensions with Iran. Although the President flew back on the older model, the Qatari-gifted aircraft left the summit earlier and headed to Mildenhall Air Force Base in England. The White House described the change as an opportunity for military personnel to inspect the new aircraft, but the switch highlights the importance of adapting security measures during volatile geopolitical moments.
