NovaTube News offers a live video news service by aggregating publicly available footage from YouTube. Users can access a wide range of current video reports without needing to create an account. The platform collects limited technical information such as device and browser types, as well as anonymized usage data to enhance user experience. All videos are streamed directly through YouTube links, meaning viewers are also subject to YouTube's privacy policies when watching content.
The site provides up-to-date coverage on global events, including sensitive and complex issues like misinformation during significant moments. For example, recent reports have addressed the spread of AI-generated fake videos during the funeral of Iran’s former Supreme Leader, highlighting challenges in verifying visual news in the digital age.
