A drone strike on a holiday camp in the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine has resulted in at least 11 deaths, including five children. The attack occurred overnight, with emergency responders arriving at the scene to assist victims. Russian-appointed officials have blamed Ukraine for the incident, alleging it targeted civilians, though Kyiv has not issued an official statement. The growing death toll and the location of the camp—housing displaced civilians—have intensified regional tensions. International observers have urged restraint and called for a full investigation, warning the event may constitute a war crime.
