New York fashion boutique Colbo has expanded its Lower East Side location by transforming a neighboring space into Colbo Next Door, a new wine and vinyl listening bar. Design studio Of Enso led the interior transformation, using a combination of stainless steel and stained wood to create a distinctive aesthetic that complements the retail environment. The bar functions as an extension of Colbo’s original Orchard Street store, fostering a community-focused atmosphere centered around music and curated beverages.
The project reflects a growing trend of blending retail with experiential spaces, offering customers a multi-sensory environment beyond shopping. Of Enso’s design emphasizes material contrast and spatial flow, enhancing the sense of intimacy and modernity.
