“Oktoberfest Gives Women Shorts to Stop Upskirt Photos After Thousands of Voyeuristic Video” — what this page in the network covers. Munich's famed Oktoberfest is taking a new step to protect women from voyeurism: handing out shorts to those wearing traditional dirndl dresses. The move comes after thousands of upskirt videos filmed at the festival were shared on social media, sparking outrage and calls for action. Organizers hope the shorts will prevent hidden cameras from capturing inappropriate images. The problem isn't new—previous years have seen similar incidents, but the sheer volume of recent uploads has pushed the issue to the forefront.
Festival officials are also increasing security and encouraging victims to report incidents immediately. The initiative is part of a broader effort to make the event safer for all attendees, especially women. As Oktoberfest draws millions of visitors each year, even small changes can have a big impact on public safety and perception. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
