A closer look at “Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan Face Off on Retro Game Shows Hosted by David Byrne in New”, exactly as the source publishes it. Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan bring playful competition to the new music video for the “Expectations” remix, stepping into vintage game show sets reminiscent of “Family Feud” and “Hollywood Squares.” Directed by Bardia Zeinali, the clip marks Roan’s first-ever appearance in a music video, with musician David Byrne and producer Dan Nigro also making cameos. The video leans into a nostalgic, retro aesthetic, contrasting the song’s emotional weight with bright, kitschy visuals. For fans, the collaboration between Rodrigo and Roan—two of pop’s most talked-about young artists—signals a creative alliance that bridges their distinct styles.
The remix itself, produced by Nigro, reimagines the original track with new energy. Byrne’s presence adds an art-rock credibility, tying the project to a lineage of inventive pop performance. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
