The Pentagon has released a second batch of declassified materials concerning unidentified flying objects, including 64 documents and related footage. This action follows a directive from former President Donald Trump to enhance public access to information about unexplained aerial phenomena. The newly available records provide additional insight into military encounters with strange aerial events, offering researchers and the public more data on these incidents. These documents are part of an ongoing effort to increase transparency around government observations of anomalous sightings over time.
The release contributes to a broader recognition of past military reports involving unidentified objects. By making these records accessible, the Pentagon aims to support further analysis of historical sightings and the official responses they triggered. The materials reflect a shift toward openness regarding phenomena that have long drawn public and scientific interest. This step underscores a growing commitment to factual disclosure surrounding aerial anomalies reported by trained personnel.
