Here is what the page “PlayStation Plus Free Games October 2026: New Titles Announced, Including Cyberpunk 2077 a” contains. Among the new additions are Cyberpunk 2077 and Horizon Forbidden West, both highly anticipated releases that bring immersive storytelling and stunning visuals to PS5 players. These free games will be available to all tiers—Essential, Extra, and Premium—through the PlayStation Store starting October 1, 2026. The announcement comes as part of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its subscription service amid growing competition from Xbox Game Pass and Nintendo Switch Online.
However, the update also signals the departure of several popular titles from the library, including Spider-Man: Miles Morales and The Last of Us Part I, which will exit the free offerings on October 31, 2026. This rotation underscores the dynamic nature of the PS Plus catalog, encouraging timely engagement while highlighting Sony’s focus on balancing access with content freshness.
