Content overview: “PocketBook's $198 E-Reader Gets Colorful, Swappable Back Covers Like Old Nokia Phones”. PocketBook is bringing a dose of nostalgia to e-readers with its new $198 device, the PocketBook Color Note, which features swappable back covers reminiscent of old Nokia phones. Most e-readers come in plain black or gray, but this model lets users change the back panel to suit their style, echoing the customizable phone covers that were popular two decades ago. The Color Note also stands out with a 7.8-inch color E Ink screen, making it one of the few e-readers capable of displaying book covers and illustrations in color.
PocketBook, a Swiss-based company known for its e-readers, is targeting readers who want more personality from their devices. The swappable covers are sold separately, with multiple colors available, and the device itself is priced at $198. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
