Content overview: “Pokémon Skateboards in Blind Bags Sell Out Instantly, Resell for Double on eBay”. Santa Cruz Skateboards has released a limited-edition line of Pokémon-themed skateboards sold in blind bags, and they vanished from shelves almost immediately. The collection, which taps into both skate culture and Pokémon nostalgia, is now commanding at least double its retail price on eBay. This rapid sell-out and subsequent resale markup highlight the intense demand for crossover merchandise that blends iconic gaming franchises with streetwear and action sports brands.
The blind-bag format adds an element of surprise and collectibility, driving fans and resellers alike to purchase multiple units in hopes of securing rare designs. For collectors and investors, the Pokémon skateboard drop is a clear signal that limited-run collaborations between major pop-culture properties and established skate brands can create instant secondary markets.
