A pro-Palestinian demonstration in London led to over 500 arrests on Saturday, as police responded to a rally supporting the group Palestine Action. The organization was designated a terrorist entity by the UK government in July, though its classification is currently under legal review. The protest took place amid heightened tensions and ongoing scrutiny of activist groups advocating for Palestinian rights. Authorities maintained that the large-scale gathering posed significant public order concerns.
The event drew attention from international media, with coverage highlighting the scale of the police response and the legal status of the group involved. Despite the ban, supporters continued to organize demonstrations, underscoring divisions in public opinion regarding the conflict in the Middle East. The situation remains dynamic, with judicial processes still unfolding.
