HBO’s highly anticipated ‘Harry Potter’ series is expanding its wizarding world with the casting of Rafe Spall as Arthur Weasley, Molly Hewitt-Richards as the spectral Moaning Myrtle, and Jasper Ambrose as young Colin Creevey for Season 2. Known for his performances in ‘Trying’ and ‘Life of Pi,’ Spall brings a grounded warmth to the beloved patriarch of the Weasley family.
Hewitt-Richards, recognized from ‘Code of Silence’ and ‘Casualty,’ steps into the haunting role of the melancholic ghost who haunts Hogwarts’ girls’ bathroom. Meanwhile, Ambrose, fresh off roles in ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy’ and ‘The Sheep Detectives,’ takes on the enthusiastic first-year student whose passion for magic mirrors fans’ own wonder.
