A redesigned Nintendo Switch 2 model is reportedly entering production for the European market, featuring a replaceable battery. This change aligns with European regulations requiring devices to have easily accessible and replaceable batteries to support repairability. The Joy-Con controllers are also expected to receive the same update, offering users greater flexibility in maintenance. There is currently no confirmation on whether this version will be released outside Europe. Meanwhile, Crimson Desert has achieved strong initial sales, reaching approximately two million copies sold since launch.
