Beyer Vows to Fight Trump's Triumphal Arch Plan President Donald Trump has suggested modifying plans for a large triumphal arch in Washington, DC, by including staging areas for US military snipers and launching drones. The proposed arch would be built in Memorial Circle, situated between Arlington National Cemetery and the Lincoln Memorial. Don Beyer (D-VA) joins the program to express his opposition to the project. He argues that the arch is unnecessary and could detract from the solemnity of nearby memorials.
