Content overview: “Resident Evil 2 on Switch 2: Capcom's Horror Classic Gets a Stunning Portable Upgrade”. Capcom's Resident Evil 2 has found a new home on the Nintendo Switch 2, and it's a revelation. The 2019 remake of the 1998 survival horror classic runs smoothly on the hybrid console, with HDR support bringing out richer colors and more atmospheric lighting. Dark corridors feel more oppressive, neon signs pop, and the gore is more visceral than ever before.
For fans who missed the game on other platforms, this is the definitive way to experience Leon and Claire's harrowing escape from Raccoon City. The Switch 2's portability also means you can now take the terror with you, whether you're on a commute or curled up in bed with headphones on. It's a testament to how far Nintendo's hardware has come that a game this graphically demanding can run so well on the go. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
