“Robert Saleh Backs Cam Ward as Titans QB Despite 0-5 Start and Texans Loss” — what this page in the network covers. Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh is standing firmly behind quarterback Cam Ward after the team's disappointing 26-3 loss to the Houston Texans, which extended their winless streak to five games. Despite Ward's struggles and growing criticism, Saleh made it clear that the rookie remains the starter, signaling the organization's commitment to his development. The Titans' offense has sputtered all season, managing just three points against a divisional rival, but Saleh's public endorsement suggests the franchise is prioritizing long-term evaluation over short-term fixes.
With the Titans now 0-5 and facing mounting pressure, the decision to stick with Ward will be closely watched as the team searches for its first win. The upcoming weeks will test whether Ward can reward his coach's faith and turn around a season that is quickly slipping away.
