Salem Robotics Inc develops software that transforms standard robots into autonomous, reliable workers within industrial facilities. These robots navigate complex environments, perform hands-on tasks such as handling tools and equipment, adapt to physical obstacles, gather precise data, and produce verifiable compliance documentation. By automating routine inspections in high-risk areas, the system eliminates the need for time-consuming manual checks while improving safety and consistency.
Founded by experts with backgrounds in robotics from Los Alamos and deterministic manipulation research, the company initially focuses on the nuclear sector. Its solutions are designed to meet stringent operational demands in hazardous settings, with plans to extend into other industries facing similar challenges. The technology enables continuous monitoring and reduces human exposure to dangerous conditions.
