“Share Your Favourite Spooky UK Spot and Win a £200 Coolstays Voucher” — what this page in the network covers. The Guardian Lifestyle Oct 12, 2026 • 2:12 PM 1 views Halloween is approaching, and The Guardian is inviting readers to submit their top tips for eerie sites and ghostly tours across the UK. From haunted castles and atmospheric ruins to guided city ghost walks, the publication wants to hear about your most memorable spooky experiences. The best tip, selected by Lonely Planet's Tom Hall, will win a £200 voucher towards a stay at a Coolstays property—a company offering over 3,000 unique accommodations worldwide.
Winning entries will also be featured in the Guardian Travel section and website. This call-out is part of the regular readers' tips series, which highlights authentic travel recommendations. If you've explored a spine-chilling location or joined a ghost tour that sent shivers down your spine, now is the time to share your story. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
