SpaceX is preparing for the 13th test flight of its Starship system, with a launch window opening Thursday evening between 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time. This mission focuses on assessing key enhancements to both the Starship spacecraft and the Super Heavy booster, specifically the V3 configuration. The flight aims to advance the development of fully reusable launch vehicles, a cornerstone of SpaceX’s long-term goals. In addition to testing new hardware, the mission will deploy a fresh set of Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, expanding the company’s global broadband network.
The event marks another significant step in SpaceX’s progress toward reliable and cost-effective space access. Live coverage will be available as ground teams complete final preparations for liftoff. The test flight underscores ongoing efforts to refine orbital reentry, stage separation, and landing techniques. With each mission, SpaceX gathers critical data to support future crewed missions and deep-space exploration. The launch will be closely watched by space enthusiasts and industry experts alike.
