Spain’s Xoople has secured $130 million in Series B funding to advance its mission of creating a comprehensive digital map of Earth tailored for artificial intelligence applications. The investment will support the development of satellite-based imaging technology designed to deliver high-resolution, real-time geospatial data. This data will be used to train and enhance AI models across various industries, including environmental monitoring, urban planning, and disaster response.
As part of the expansion, Xoople has entered a strategic partnership with L3Harris to design and manufacture specialized sensors for its upcoming satellite fleet. These sensors will capture detailed visual and spectral information from orbit, enabling more accurate and timely analysis of Earth's surface. The collaboration marks a key step in building a scalable infrastructure for AI-driven geospatial intelligence.
