Negotiations between the United States and Iran in Switzerland have commenced under tense and uneven conditions. Iranian representatives have expressed optimism about the discussions but emphasized that any meaningful progress hinges on ending the conflict in Lebanon. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump has maintained a firm position, warning that military action could resume if talks fail to advance.
The discussions represent a complex diplomatic effort with significant regional implications. Despite the cautious tone from both sides, the outcome remains uncertain as external conflicts continue to influence the negotiation dynamics. The talks are closely watched as they may impact broader geopolitical stability in the Middle East.
