Here is what the page “Taylor Sheridan's Landman Future: How the Yellowstone Blueprint Could Expand the Franchise” contains. Taylor Sheridan's Landman, starring Billy Bob Thornton as crisis executive Tommy Norris, has quickly become a hit for Paramount+, with a Season 2 already confirmed and a likely Season 3 on the horizon. But as Sheridan has proven with Yellowstone and its expanding universe of prequels and spinoffs like 1883 and 1923, a successful series is just the beginning. Landman's gritty look at the West Texas oil boom offers rich material for a franchise, from historical origin stories to contemporary offshoots.
Sheridan has already tested this approach—exploring different eras and locations within the Yellowstone world—and Landman could follow suit. The key is leveraging the show's core themes of risk, family, and power while introducing new characters and timelines.
