Content overview: “The Hunger Games Franchise Is Leaving Free Streaming on Tubi This Week Ahead of New Preque”. The Hunger Games films are departing Tubi, one of the last major free streaming homes for the blockbuster dystopian series, as of this week. The move comes as Lionsgate prepares to release the next installment, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, in November 2026. The franchise, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth, has been a staple of free ad-supported streaming, but viewers will now need a subscription to services like Peacock or Hulu to watch the original four films.
For fans who have relied on free access, this is a significant change, but it also signals the franchise's enduring commercial power. Expect the saga to remain a key asset for premium platforms as the new film approaches. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
