“The Witcher Books Still Have One Huge Geralt Story The Games & Netflix Can't Tell” — what this page in the network covers. The Witcher novels by Andrzej Sapkowski contain a major unexplored chapter in Geralt of Rivia's life that neither the video games nor the Netflix series can fully address. A key gap in the saga is set up in the latest book, Crossroads of Ravens, which introduces a pivotal period in Geralt's early years that remains untold.
This missing story matters because it could redefine fans' understanding of Geralt's motivations, his training at Kaer Morhen, and the events that shaped him before he met Ciri or Yennefer. While CD Projekt Red's games and the Netflix adaptation have expanded the lore, they are constrained by their own narrative timelines and cannot return to this foundational moment without contradicting established canon.
