“Toto Wolff Slams Critics of Mercedes' Antonelli Decision: 'Brainless' and Should Watch Tel” — what this page in the network covers. Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has launched a scathing attack on critics who claim the team has favoured rookie Kimi Antonelli over George Russell this Formula 1 season, branding them 'brainless' and suggesting they watch Teletubbies and Mickey Mouse instead of racing. The outburst came after growing speculation that Mercedes' strategy calls have disadvantaged Russell, the more experienced driver, in favour of the 18-year-old Italian prodigy. Wolff dismissed the notion outright, insisting that both drivers receive equal treatment and that such conspiracy theories are unfounded.
The comments highlight the intense pressure surrounding Antonelli's highly anticipated debut, as he steps into the seat vacated by seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton. With Mercedes fighting to reclaim its place at the front of the grid, internal team dynamics are under the microscope. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
