A closer look at “Trump Attacks NBC News Reporter Over Vivek Ramaswamy Ad Condemned by Both Parties”, exactly as the source publishes it. President Donald Trump lashed out at NBC News correspondent Gabe Gutierrez on Tuesday after she pressed him on why he supports a controversial new ad from Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican nominee for governor of Ohio. The spot, which debuted this week, features the estranged mother of Ramaswamy's Democratic opponent, Nan Whaley, criticizing Whaley's record. The ad has drawn rare bipartisan condemnation, with Democrats and Republicans calling it a low blow that drags a private family dispute into a political race.
Trump, who has endorsed Ramaswamy, dismissed the criticism and attacked Gutierrez personally, calling her question 'nasty' and 'unfair' during a press availability. The exchange is the latest in a pattern of Trump berating reporters, particularly women, when challenged on his endorsements or policy.
