Türkiye has reported that NATO air defense systems successfully intercepted a third missile launched from Iran. This follows previous incidents where two Iranian ballistic missiles were shot down, the first on March 4 and the second on March 9. In response to these events, Türkiye has formally requested clarification from Tehran regarding the missile launches.
The situation highlights ongoing tensions in the region, with NATO playing a defensive role to protect member states. Türkiye’s call for an explanation underscores the seriousness with which it views these missile attacks and reflects the broader geopolitical concerns surrounding Iran's military activities near NATO territories.
