Content overview: “Umamusume: Pretty Derby LA Concert Cancelled Last Minute Over US Visa Issues”. The highly anticipated Umamusume: Pretty Derby concert in Los Angeles has been abruptly cancelled, with developers citing unresolved US visa issues as the cause. Despite exploring "every possible option," the production team was unable to secure the necessary visas for key performers and staff, forcing the last-minute cancellation. The event was part of the franchise's global expansion efforts, aiming to bring its popular horse-girl racing idols to American fans.
The cancellation underscores the challenges international entertainment acts face with US immigration processes, which have become increasingly stringent. Affected ticket holders will receive refunds, but the disappointment is palpable among the dedicated fanbase who had planned travel and accommodations. The developers expressed deep regret and are reportedly working on rescheduling, though no new date has been announced.
