Senator Rand Paul from Kentucky questioned Senator Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing. Mullin has been nominated by President Donald Trump to lead the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This nomination follows the dismissal of Kristi Noem, who previously headed the agency but was removed amid bipartisan criticism after congressional hearings. Mullin has served in Congress since 2012 and is now under review for this new role.
