Content overview: “When Does VisionQuest Take Place in the Marvel Timeline?”. Marvel fans eager to place the upcoming Disney+ series VisionQuest within the sprawling Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline finally have some clues. The show, which follows Paul Bettany's Vision as he attempts to regain his memories and humanity after the events of WandaVision, is set after those events but before the timeline of the Multiverse Saga's later entries. While Marvel Studios has not provided an exact date, context from the source material and recent MCU projects suggests the series unfolds in the post-Blip era, likely around 2026 or 2027.
This places it after the conclusion of WandaVision and roughly concurrent with or shortly after the events of The Marvels and Secret Invasion. Understanding where VisionQuest fits matters because it may set up key storylines for Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars, especially regarding Vision's role in the larger cosmic conflict.
