Here is what the page “Who Is Emilio Sakraya? Meet the Actor Playing Xaden Riorson in Amazon’s ‘Fourth Wing’” contains. Amazon Prime Video has found its Xaden Riorson: German actor Emilio Sakraya will star opposite Esther McGregor as Violet Sorrengail in the highly anticipated adaptation of Rebecca Yarros’ bestselling “Fourth Wing” series. The announcement, made Thursday, settles months of fan speculation about who would bring the brooding, shadow-wielding love interest to life. Sakraya, known for roles in “Tribes of Europa” and “60 Minuten,” steps into a role that has become a cultural phenomenon among romantasy readers.
Meanwhile, McGregor, daughter of Ewan McGregor, will play the physically fragile but fiercely determined Violet. The casting matters because “Fourth Wing” is one of the biggest book franchises in recent years, with millions of copies sold and a passionate online fanbase.
