Content overview: “Why All of Us Are Dead Season 2 Is Still Delayed on Netflix After Two Years”. More than two years after Netflix renewed the hit Korean zombie series All of Us Are Dead, fans are still waiting for a season 2 release date. The show, based on the popular webtoon Now at Our School, became a global phenomenon in early 2022, topping Netflix charts in over 90 countries. But despite the quick renewal announcement, production has faced significant delays.
Industry insiders point to a combination of factors, including the high cost of large-scale zombie action sequences, the busy schedules of the young cast, and the complexities of filming during ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in South Korea. Lead actors like Park Ji-hu and Yoon Chan-young have taken on other projects, further stretching the timeline. For Netflix, the delay is risky—K-drama audiences move quickly, and the platform has since released several other zombie hits like Kingdom and Happiness. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
