Content overview: “Why Nintendo Should Add a Wii Channel to Switch Online: 12 Classic Games That Deserve a Co”. Nintendo's Switch Online service has already brought retro libraries from the NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, and even Game Boy to the hybrid console. But one notable gap remains: the Wii, one of Nintendo's best-selling systems and home to a generation of motion-controlled hits. A new report from a gaming outlet argues that adding a Wii channel to Switch Online would be a smart move, and it spotlights 12 classic games that would make the lineup shine.
While the source does not list the games explicitly in the provided excerpt, the argument is clear: the Wii's library is full of beloved titles that would translate well to the Switch, especially with the Joy-Con's motion capabilities. The Wii sold over 101 million units worldwide, and its games still hold nostalgic value for millions of players.
