Content overview: “Why the NCIS: Los Angeles Reunion Delay for Callen & Sam Is Secretly Perfect”. Fans eager for a Callen and Sam reunion on NCIS may be disappointed by the 2026 delay, but the postponement could actually benefit the franchise. The extra time allows the new NCIS series to establish its own character dynamics, particularly for the longtime agent at the center of the story. By letting the new show breathe, the eventual reunion can be more impactful rather than feeling rushed. This strategic move ensures that when Callen and Sam finally return, their appearance will resonate with both new viewers and longtime fans.
The delay isn't a setback—it's a setup for a stronger, more meaningful crossover. Nova Global News curates publicly available headlines and summaries with source attribution.
