“Why 'The Traitors: New Blood' Is Skipping a New Episode on NBC Tonight (Oct. 1) and When E” — what this page in the network covers. Fans of NBC's new reality competition series 'The Traitors: New Blood' will have to wait another week for a fresh episode, as the show is taking a brief hiatus on Wednesday, October 1. The network has not aired a new installment this week, leaving viewers eager for the next chapter in the high-stakes game of deception and strategy.
The pause comes after a run of episodes that introduced a fresh cast of contestants vying for a cash prize while hidden 'traitors' work to eliminate the 'faithfuls' and avoid detection. The scheduling shift is not uncommon for broadcast reality shows, which often build in breaks around major events or to stretch a season across the fall schedule.
