Designer Yves Béhar has created a modular sofa inspired by challenges faced during the pandemic. Instead of a conventional sofa, this innovative piece is made from interlocking foam triangles. It can be customized in countless ways, accommodating up to twelve people or transforming into smaller seating arrangements to fit different rooms and occasions. The modular design allows the components to be stacked, rearranged, or combined, making the sofa highly adaptable to various living spaces.
This concept reflects a growing trend toward flexible furniture that meets the needs of modern, multifunctional homes. Béhar’s design offers both comfort and versatility, enabling users to easily modify their seating setup. The ability to transform the sofa from a large lounge area into a compact bench or even a visually striking centerpiece underscores its practical and aesthetic appeal.
