Five years ago, our choice of monitors proved to be a misstep as we prioritized features that didn't align with long-term workflow needs. At the time, we invested in miniLED PA32UCX displays, drawn by the promise of high dynamic range and vibrant visuals. However, as content creation evolved, the limitations of these monitors became apparent—especially in color accuracy and calibration consistency across multiple screens. The shift toward higher resolution workflows and professional-grade color management revealed gaps in performance that were not immediately obvious during initial testing.
Now equipped with ASUS ProArt displays, including the 8K PA32KCX, 6K PA32QCV, and 5K PA27JCV models, we’ve reevaluated our setup based on real-world editing demands. These newer panels deliver superior color precision, consistent brightness, and enhanced HDR support tailored for creative professionals. The upgrade reflects a deeper understanding of monitor requirements in modern production environments, ensuring better alignment with Mac and MacBook workflows.
